Learn to Lead – Sport Climbing
Course Details:
It’s simple! We’re looking to give you all the tools required to safely lead sport routes outdoors. From basic skills like clipping bolts and threading the lower off all the way through to movement coaching and mental performance, we’re setting you up to succeed. We can fit as much in to this course as you can manage! Come and learn:
- Choosing the right routes
- Warming up
- Safe belaying, managing slack
- Using a clipstick and extending draws
- Threading various lower-off types
- Setting up a top-rope
- Onsighting & red-pointing skills
- Movement & mental coaching
